I really like this design. DNA strand morphing into musical notation = music genome project - seems pretty self explanitory to me? Gene = Jeans, clever.
Ah it is rare that me and Mr.Bacon would agree on anything but I find that the border might just take away from your simple entry.
It's a good concept, but I don't know if people will understand it without the description.
Great translation from bits to music. try using 1010111000 binary code instead? On the other hand, my first design has a ton of detail like that in it and it looks terrible online since there's no detail view - maybe simpler is better :)
