Not sure why this is a finalist. Live trace should be used carefully. Its a bad sign when you can tell its live trace.
p.s. if you are going to turn a copyrighted photo to vector using illustrator's live trace tool...you could at least clean up the trash around the vector work. i.e. trash on the mp3 player's screen...also what is the "bite mark" out of the player?
too simplistic and immitates alot with andy warhol's pop art.. its like whatever.. i personally like for people to really bring out their illustration skills, it shows how much people put so much work into it and emotion.. just my opinion
Yes really. Out of all the bad art submitted in this contest it was bound to happen that one of them would make it this far. Good work. They see something I don’t or just feel really bad for you.
